In attendance: Marcia King, Cheryl Costa, Marla Fredette, Sue Fort, Kelly Bryer, Dawn Bourret

Halloween Party Review

Overall feedback was good. Only comments were about the drinks needing to be stronger (we had powdered Gatorade) and the music needed to be louder.

We spent more this year than last.  The prizes are the biggest expense – we do have many items left over to reuse next year.

Thank you notes have been sent.

Marcia circulated a card for DI/upper grades – Thank you note that will have a donation.

Fall Fundraiser Update

Sue reported items will be in on the 19th. May need help with cakes on that day.

Calendar Update
Sue and Marla have prizes from 17 businesses. Need to do follow-up contacts and reach out to more attractions. Kelly volunteered to contact the attractions and design calendar

November Craft Fair – 11/21 9-3pm

PTO has a table reserved ($15)
Suggestions of what to do with it included:

T-shirts: we’d have to get samples – no time / money

Baked  Goods: someone else is doing it

Artsonia items – didn’t want someone else’s kids items

Still thinking….

December – Santa Gifts ($1 per student)

Gift Ideas – passed around catalogs

What’s appropriate for upper grades was also discussed.

Ideas included: water bottles, pencil sharpeners, gloves

Marla had spoken to Work Wear and they had some clearance gloves we could get for a good price. Small $3-4 little - $2 bigger ones (discontinued).  PTO can’t afford. It was suggested we approach the banks for help.
